- JACOB SHEA (composer: Gears of War: Judgment, Planet Earth II, Through the Wormhole)

"What blew me away about DOTD was how close it sounded to an actual percussion scoring session.  No hyped, compressed within an inch of its life sounds.  Just beautifully recorded natural samples."
- STEPHEN BARTON (composer: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Titanfall, Titanfall 2)
Drums of the Deep has become a staple in my template for its flexibility and the breadth of sonic possibilities and images available from the microphones; it is a joy to use. Cannot recommend Auddict’s libraries highly enough.
- MIKE KENNERTY (musician / producer: The All-American Rejects, Screeching Weasel, Direct Hit!, The Copyrights)
I love layering cinematic elements into rock songs. Even when mixed subtly they can really bring a song to life. Drums of the Deep is a perfect library for adding those kinds of touches. Really great for that extra percussive oomph.
- Klayton (Celldweller)

[On "Drums of the Deep"]...
Big and flexible with multiple mic positions to choose from. This library is indispensable.
Composer - Chrono Trigger,
Mario Party, Black Butler

Best textural sound ever. Couldn't have achieved the finest-sounding music without it.

Angel Strings Vol.1 OUT NOW! (33% Off)

Did You Know a String Orchestral Could Sound Like This?

We are very excited to present "Angel Strings - Vol.1", a brand new Kontakt strings library for which we've sampled techniques and articulations never before captured for a library. The library was intricately recorded with all sections at once, and balanced (in real life performance, as opposed to in software) in a fashion that means the entire string orchestra can be played over a single keyboard range, without loading up individual section nki's. Carefully placed spot mic positions however, mean you can zone in and isolate sections if required.

Articulations include various phasing between tonality and atonality to amazing effect, the most delicate playing to the most dramatic, loud and powerful playing, short articulations sampled up to 15RR and more.

One amazing thing about this library, is that although many of these techniques require planning, arrangement and care on the players' part to play just a single note or sound; once they are sampled and programmed to a full keyboard range, and you have the ability to play chords, melodies and harmonies, you achieve something not even possible in reality with a real orchestra. This - we believe - is where the diamonds in the world of sampling arise... things not possible in real life, but only possible with samples.
