You know what? We’re going to make this really easy for you. You’ll only need to use two controls.

Step 1

Select the drum you’d like go beast mode with. We went with these drums from our "Core Drums" pack:
‍
• Hyped Djuns
• Daiko and Tom
• Dhol
• Deep Solo
• Bongo Mute
• Darbuka

Step 2

Click one of the empty track FX slots and add a “MUD” control. Clean up your sound by turning down the low-mid a little.

Step 3

The Magic: Click another empty FX slot and add a “BOOM” control. Turn this up with caution and witness your drum unleash its final boss-mode. ENJOY.

Final Notes and Tips

• This works best on small/mid drums and large drums which don’t already have a huge low end. Careful not to turn it up too much.

• Don’t use “boom” on something which already has a huge low end as you’ll just overwhelm your sound with unnecessary sub-bass mush.

• What does “boom” actually do?! Well… a chef doesn’t give away his secret recipes but it combines a few tricks in one knob, and there’s a little bit of everything in there. If you want to know what it does; add it to everything, turn it up and down and see for yourself 😉
